Fulton County has an abundance of natural resources, most notably an ample water source. Unlike many parts of the U.S., this region is drought-free and welcomes water-intensive business to share in the abundant resources. Additionally, the groundwater provides a valuable source of geothermal energy that can reduce heating and cooling costs.


Toledo Edison, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corporation, provides electricity to much of Fulton County.
Tri-County Electric Cooperative – A member-owned rural electric cooperative has 4,400 members throughout Northwest Ohio.

Natural Gas

Ohio Gas Company – provides natural gas to more than 50,000 residential, commercial and industrial companies throughout Northwest Ohio.
